I've added some code to detect this condition on Solaris more elegantly
- can you try the 3.3.7 package on a host that is a non-global zone?

It is in /home/experimental/ganglia/3.3.7

Also, 3.3.x series has a great new web interface compared to older
versions - can you put the package gangliaweb on a publicly available
web server perhaps so I can see reports from the build farm?

gangliaweb: only needed on the web server

gangliaagent: install to all hosts you want to monitor

Everything should just work automatically
