[csw-maintainers] Running git send-email on the buildfarm

I want to send my patches upstream. I'm running git send-email, but
it's taking an awful lot of time, or maybe it's stuck forever (hard to
tell, I waited a few minutes).

Am I doing it wrong? What are other people's experiences?
