Update: By disabling the Python module (which we can't build because
we have no 64-bit Python), I have succeeded in a proof-of-concept
build outside GAR. The next step is to build it under GAR. I'm giving
the build64only branch a go, but I know that it's not finished. Dago,
please feel nudged about the 64-bit-only build in GAR! :-)
