Hi All,

Updated PostgreSQL packages have been built, and should be available
from your local mirror site soon. This bumps the version up to 7.3.7,
and is a highly recommended update, as it fixes several bugs from the
7.3.6 release which could result in loss of data. From the PostgreSQL
main site :-

"Due to insufficient interlocking between transaction commit and
checkpointing, it was possible for transactions committed just before
the most recent checkpoint to be lost, in whole or in part, following a
database crash and restart.... Due to the seriousness of the first bug,
as relates to data integrity, it is strongly recommended that
administrators upgrade their database servers at their earliest convience. "

None of these releases require a dump-n-reload in order to address the
problems.

Please let me know of any issues.

Thanks,

-Mark
