Hi Rupert, looking in newpkgs. there is still a set of subversion packages.... however, one of them is still subversion-1.6.9,REV=2010.02.14-SunOS5.8-sparc-UNCOMMITTED.pkg.gz So, just waiting on that to be fixed, and compiled from an official checked in version?
