Hmm, how does your /opt/csw/etc/pango/pango.modules look like?
It should look similar to this one and needs to be world-readable:
http://blastwave.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/csw/users/michael/pango.modules
(This file is generated in the postinstall of libpango)
