Programs should just work!  Stripping reduces the size.  Debugging
symbols are no use to an ordinary user and little use without the
corresponding source code.

Stable packages are ones previously in unstable.  There is no
difference in the way they are built and they are not processed
(eg stripped) as they are moved to stable.  The stability comes
only from the selection process.
