Yes. It is a package dependency issue which was fixed in the newer package. We could patch pkg-get to not to try to install a package that is already installed [with same version numbering].

I could try that but I'm not sure what we will achieve with that. There 
is no problem installing the gnome_panel 2006.10.20 pkg with pkgadd if I 
download it first as you do with pkgs from testing. It's only with 
pkg-get -i (or -u) I get the problem described below.
