A new release of the GnuCash packages can be found in the testing
area:
- the core package:
/export/medusa/testing/gnucash-2.0.2,REV=2006.11.09-SunOS5.8-i386-CSW.pkg.gz
/export/medusa/testing/gnucash-2.0.2,REV=2006.11.09-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg.gz
/export/medusa/testing/gnucashcommon-2.0.2,REV=2006.11.09-SunOS5.8-all-CSW.pkg.gz
- the documentation package:
/export/medusa/testing/gnucashdoc-2.0.1-SunOS5.8-all-CSW.pkg.gz
The documentation is in its own package because for the moment the
upstream code base is not yet synchronised.
You can install them using pkgadd; first gnucashcommon and then
gnucash.
Note that there are 2 important dependencies for those using OFX
imports: libofx and opensp; they need to have the following versions:
- opensp: 1.5.2
- libofx: 0.8.2,REV=2006.11.19
and are already available in the unstable branch.
There are 2 known issues:
1. The documentation cannot be accessed because yelp doesn't work, at
least for me --- see:
http://www.blastwave.org/mantis/view_bug_page.php?f_id=0001867
However, you can access the documentation by using the SUN provided
yelp:
/usr/bin/yelp \
ghelp:/opt/csw/share/gnome/help/gnucash/C/gnucash-help.xml
and
/usr/bin/yelp \
ghelp:/opt/csw/share/gnome/help/gnucash/C/gnucash-guide.xml
2. Printing doesn't work; however, you can print by exporting your
report in HTML and use your preferred UA to print it.
As there is no GnuCash mantis category, if you find a bug please
report directly to my Blastwave address.
Enjoy.
