On my Solaris9 sparc those mentioned libraries (which I got from blastwave) came
to 2.2Megs. I do not otherwise have gnome installed. I am sure those got picked
up when I upgraded to Firefox 1.5.0.6
To avoid the libraries I would guess you might follow that other suggestion
about getting "just what you need" directly from Sun.
