ok, here is the solution:

in /usr/share/xsessions, there are CDE.desktop and gnome.desktop, by 
default.
cp gnome.desktop xfce.desktop
and xfce.desktop contains:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Xfce 4.2 Session
Comment=Use this session to run Xfce 4.2 as your desktop environment
Exec=/usr/bin/ctrun -l child -i none /etc/dt/config/Xinitrc.CSWxfce
TryExec=/usr/bin/ctrun -l child -i none /etc/dt/config/Xinitrc.CSWxfce
# no icon yet, only the top three are currently used
Icon=/opt/csw/share/pixmaps/xfce4_xicon1.png
Type=Application


why don't include this file in your package?
