[csw-users] Gnome random freezes

I just installed Blastwave/unstable gnome on a Solaris 10 x86 Sunray 
server and we experience the random hangs/freezes already 
discussed on this list, e.g., in
<http://lists.blastwave.org/pipermail/users/2007-December/003109.html>

I tried to install gtk2-2.10.14 from blastwave/testing 
but this breaks (at least) evince. Evince  complains about unresolved
symbols. 
Is there anything else I can do? Does it make sense to try my luck 
with the gtk2-2.12.8 package from testing?
