This is a bug in CSWImagemagick. 

compare exists since 1982 and imagemagic recently 
created a name collision. imagemagic is rsponsible 
for fixing this problem.

It seems to be impossible to assign this bug to CSWImagemagick (where
it belongs to), so I am closing this one....
