Hm. I thought printing was completely broken, but basic  printing features
(print to file) seems to work at least.

Sadly, I notice that print preview does, indeed, seem to do nothing.
But it gives no errors that I can see. Please let me know if you have any
suggestions in that area.

oh. actually .... it would seem the only problem is that "evince" is not
present.

And that has a whole heaping gobload of dependancies, which I really dont
want to force into "gimp_minimal" (or possibly even the higher level "gimp"
!)

Do you have suggestions on how to make gimp use something besides evince
for page preview?
