Debugging the vanishing packages

I've subscribed to the buildfarm@ mailing list and I'll discuss buildfarm
changes here.

I've put in place some logging for the web app. I still haven't found the
cause, but I have some suspicions, and if they are right, I should see that
in the logs.

Rafi and Dago, could you please repeat the uploads that caused the
problems? I tried some rebuilds and uploads, but it did not trigger the
problem. Maybe if you do that, the problem will be triggered again?
