Regression: please downgrade the binutils on the buildfarm

Hello,

I'm getting issues such as this on unstable10x:
ld: fatal: relocation error: file .libs/header.o: section [2].rel.text:
invalid relocation type: 0x2b

This looks very much like:

On unstable10x:
GNU assembler (GNU Binutils) 2.26.20160125
-rwxr-xr-x   2 root     bin      7017272 May 19 12:59 /opt/csw/bin/gas

On my home VM, it does not happen:
GNU assembler (GNU Binutils)
2.24                                               |
-rwxr-xr-x   2 root     bin      6392892 mai  24  2015 /opt/csw/bin/gas

So, can you please downgrade gas on the buildfarm, at least until 2.27
is available?
