True, testing needs to be handled with care (time to get the
in-development-stuff out of testing, glad that Dago is working towards
it).

To only update the sendmail package you could do

  pkgutil -t http://mirror.opencsw.org/opencsw/testing -Nu sendmail

Requires pkgutil version 1.7.
