Hi Mike,
sendmail-8.14.3 is running without an issue using
/etc/mail/sendmai.cf (which I sort of prefer over /opt/csw/etc/mail
or /etc/opt/csw/mail).
I had to do a few changes myself (added to my cfengine
shadow tree repo):
* add some ifelf/sinclude handling to my sendmail.mc
to find the /opt/csw/share/mail/cf files
* symlink /usr/lib/sendmail -> /opt/csw/lib/sendmail
* symlink /etc/mail/submit.cf -> /opt/csw/etc/mail/submit.cf
* create a /var/spool/mail/clientmqueue (smmsp:smmsp)
* add smmsp login/group to my supplementary passwd/group files
(I think that's it)
I guess the Sun conversion script included in the package would
have taken care of these, but I wanted to add this all to my CFE repo
anyway - better to understand the details intimately.
Thanks!
Brian
