I haven't tried this, but I did see some 'wonkiness' with `svn log`
over the weekend.  Things that I knew were committed weren't in the
log and running `svn update` seemed to fix it for me.  At the time I
didn't spend time investigating, but maybe I will now that you've
raised this other concern.
