well, wonderful. Does that mean we have "consensus" that this is the
right thing to do moving forward then?
And to answer a prior email, the circumstances of the recent
occurence, were a package that pops up a dialog box that by default,
has a particular set of directories that the user can choose from,
along with manually typing in a full path to a different directory.
/usr/local was present, /opt/csw/anything was not.
So the user misses out on the "feature" of convenience, unless the
/usr/local reference is either patched or augmented.
