[csw-maintainers] Oracle Solaris Studio Patch availability

Hi all,

I'm installing the "Oracle Solaris Studio 12" (formerly Sun Studio 12) on one of my freshly installed systems, and much to my chagrin I've discovered that I can't patch the thing.

We've got gold support on our systems via our old Sun Spectrum account, but this apparently doesn't include patches for the compilers any more, according to:

What are the maintainers of the buildfarm planning to do about patching the compiler suite now that it's not included with the Solaris support contract?

Oracle: nickle-and-diming you to death.
