It is not correct, in the sense that it forces users to download a
package that they do not strictly "need", and may have no interest or
use for.
Yes, you like it; others however, may not.

Depending on CSWtexinfo also pulls in other packages, which makes it even worse.
(gsed, and CSWbash. neither of which are needed for gdb itself)

It is always good to be mindful of the use case, where a user tries us
for the first time, to get "one specific program".

if they are initially using us just to get a modern gdb installed..
they will not be impressed if we then needlessly pull in 3 extra
packages they have no wish for.
