Waaait a minute...
everything else sounds good, but:
*WHY* exactly, do we need a 64bit binary? that's a waste of space.
webservers usually only need 64bit *filesystem APIs*.
Having it use 64bit memory space, is a useless "feature", as far as I'm aware.
