[csw-users] problems with cut and paste from gnome terminal session??

To summarize the various gnome and sun bugs, it
appears that if you want a usable gnome-terminal on
solaris, you need to upgrade to Solaris 10 or Solaris
9 update 6 (specifically patch 112874-20 or newer on
Solaris 9).

Failing that, someone has written a workaround that
avoids calling Solaris' extremely slow regex for url
matching by writing his own find_url subroutine (
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93775#c30 ),
which works well on Solaris 8.

Is there any way we can have this patch incorporated
into blastwave's gnome-terminal so that us Solaris 8
and older sufferers can use gnome-terminal?

Thanks in advance,
