which version of solaris are you running, "uname -a"? if you are running
solaris 9 or 10 then wget is on the installation media that you used to
install solaris, the wget package is SUNWwgetu and it installs in
/usr/sfw/bin.
do "ls -l /tmp/wget/wget" and email the output back to the list.
