You can do something like that:

# more /opt/sfw/bin/firefox

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/openwin/lib:/usr/dt/lib:/opt/sfw/lib:/opt/csw/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
. . .
