With only 512MB of RAM I am guessing Solaris 8 ?
Can you run /opt/csw/bin/pkg-get -U and then
/opt/csw/bin/pkg-get -c | grep -v Not
I'd like to see your software list.
Also ... cat /etc/release and uname -a please
