[csw-users] Courier-IMAP and FAM

Hi!

I just managed to launch Courier-IMAP-based mail server using Solaris 10+
and CSW packages. Almost everything works, but I have perpetuating error
in the logs:
Jan 20 15:44:18 spark imapd: [ID 702911 mail.error] Failed to create cache
file: maildirwatch (any-user-name)
Jan 20 15:44:18 spark imapd: [ID 702911 mail.error] Error: I/O error
Jan 20 15:44:18 spark imapd: [ID 702911 mail.error] Check for proper
operation and configuration

Monitor daemon (famd)

I checked against
http://lists.blastwave.org/pipermail/users/2005-June/003590.html and found
the following:

/etc/inet/inetd.conf has a line
	sgi_fam/1-2 stream rpc/tcp wait root /opt/csw/bin/fam fam

but inetconf fails:
	# inetconv
	inetconv: Error /etc/inet/inetd.conf line 49 invalid or inconsistent fields:
	#
(49 is the fam line)

/etc/rpc has an entry:
	sgi_fam         391002  famd    #File Alteration Monitor

rpcinfo reports just one version for sgi_fam:
	# rpcinfo -p | grep fam
	391002    2   tcp   1023  sgi_fam

and inetadm says nothing about fam:
	# inetadm | grep fam
	#
SIGHUP/restart to inetd doesn't change this.

Solaris version is
	# uname -a
	SunOS spark 5.11 snv_38 i86pc i386 i86pc

What could the possible problem be?
