[csw-users] asking questions

Thanks for your response...
We are using the CSW packages on our production Solaris machines so on
the surface it seems to make sense to stick with CSW rather than
Blastwave, yet it is a little sad to see the split.
Anyway, it looks like most of the repositories that were used a month
ago are still available for CSW. It also appears that the Blastwave
(Dennis') project now has a different repository at
http://blastwave.network.com/csw/.
Is it safe to say then that the CSW repositories and the
blastwave.network.com repository will now begin diverging with separate
maintainers, focus, etc?
Also, do you or anybody else know when we can expect the next stable CSW
release?
Thx as always,
-Jon

You have found the right place :-)

Yes, that is the reason. The mailserver was independent of the Blastwave
activities and is now used for the OpenCSW project. The main focus
for OpenCSW are the production releases of Solaris (that is Solaris 8
to 10, both Sparc and x86) whereas Blastwave is heading toward
OpenSolaris and Solaris Express.
