[csw-users] problems with cups

My system consists of Solaris 10 on a blade 1000, printing to a Canon bubble jet hanging off a HP jet direct print server. All blastwave packages are current (Feb 17, 2008).
I've been using CSW's cups for years but recently had a problem printing multi page docs. My printing needs are small so I'm not sure how long the problem has existed as I usually print one or two pages with no problems. It's 3 or more that are a problem. What happens is that one or two pages comes through OK but the third (and sometimes the second) stops printing half way through and there it hangs. The print job remains in the cups queue until everything is cleared and reset.
I've had a similar problem a few years ago and it was determined by someone on the list to be libgcrypt using the wrong /dev/random ... or something like that. I'm not sure how libgcrypt was determined to be the problem but a new/updated version certainly fixed it.
I have the current version of libgcrypt (1.4.0, circa 20071213) but can't roll back to test as I don't have a previous version.
Does anyone else have a similar problem or any idea how to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
