I use ~/staging without any sub structure as I found that cumbersome.
Due to the date boundary I often get files with different names than I
expect and having the build- directory also have a different name made
my tab completion harder if I hadn't cleaned up lately.
I'm 100% open to changing my settings to an agreed upon location, or,
even better, having GAR set the value irrespective of my local choice.
