[csw-maintainers] Problem with gam_server and gimp

I recently upgraded in the "current" tree on my SPARC Solaris 10 system.
This included the new gtk2 packages. I do not recall if the gamin package
was updated recently, but it is at the current 0.1.9,REV=2010.06.15 rev.
level.
I am now experiencing a serious problem when I start up gimp 2.4.3.
With gimp sitting idle, I am seeing a huge CPU load my the gimp and the
gam_server processes. After sitting quiet overnight, they were burning
40-50% of the CPU this morning, and immediately after restarting gimp, I
see similar load number in the range of 32% for gam_server and 42% for
gimp. Prior to the CSW upgrade I was having no problems. The next closest
process load is firefox-bin with around 1.25%. Since nothing in gimp
has changed, I have to assume the problem is in the gam_server or is an
artifact of the new gtk2 package.
By the way, visiting the CSW site shows the new web pages. However the
file search feature does not appear to be indexed into the search field on
these pages. I was only able to do a file search on the pages still at
www.canoedissent.org.uk. This is a facility I often use and it needs to be
integrated into the main pages - or made easier to find if it is already
there and I missed it.
Regards,
