Something interesting that I found:

references "blogpost", a mechanism to drive wordpress "blog posts"
from asciidoc.
Would be interesting if we could drive our site from  {some version
controlled system} to wordpress directly.

There is also at least one asciidoc driven, or compatible, wiki:

it drives "github".

(so predictably, runs on top of git :)
