Hello again,

managed to solve the issue after some more digging:

For some reason both the pkginfo and the preremove script
in /var/sadm/pkg/oldCSWforemost were corrupted, I installed foremost
again, copied the files over from /var/sadm/pkg/CSWforemost, removed
both CSWforemost and oldCSWforemost with pkgrm and then reinstalled
with pkg-get -i foremost.

All works fine now. Many thanks in any case for looking.
